Enchanted more then lives up to its name and good reviews. The movie opens in classic Disney fashion: the opening of a fairy tale book along with narration, by none other then Disney legend Julie Andrews.

CINDERELLA III: A Twist In Time
Posted on - 1/30/2007
And they lived happily ever after, AGAIN!. Cinderella III: A Twist In Time adds a whole new take to the classic Cinderella story. This time the glass slipper fits Anastasia not Cinderella. How could that be you ask? It seems the Fairy Godmother was a little clumsy with her magic wand and Anastasia finds it and takes it back to the wicked step-mother who has ideas of her own on how to use it.

Homecoming Destination Disneyland
Posted on - 9/15/2005
At Mickey News we get Disney related books all the time to read, review and give away on the site, as you have seen in the past, but few have captured my attention like "Homecoming Destination Disneyland" by Carlene Thie. This book is a Disneyland lover's dream book covering the photographic history of the construction of Walt's original park.

Waking Walt by Larry Pontius
Posted on - 3/23/2004
What if, back in December of 1966, Walt Disney was not laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale but instead, right before his death, he was cryogenically frozen with the hope of someday finding a cure for his lung cancer and bringing him back from his frosty resting place? Just when it seems that the Walt Disney Company is going to be taken over by a corporate raider and sold to the highest bidder a cure is found and Walt’s original circle of friends put a plan into action to help save Disney and bring Walt back!

Interview with Rochelle (dancer from Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen)
Posted on - 3/14/2004
Mickey News had the privilege of having an interview with a dancer in Disney’s latest teen hit, Confessions of a Teenage Dram Queen, Rochelle LaBrecque. Rochelle is a wonderful young woman, with lots of energy and a great desire to go places in life. There is no doubt in my mind that this part is just the start of a very long career in film.

Ohana at the Polynesian Resort
Posted on - 3/10/2004
We’re just back from a visit to Walt Disney World. There were three adults in our party and we had a most delicious dinner at Ohana. When you arrive, you are taken over to the fire pit (where the meats are grilled on skewers) and your host or hostess gets your Hawaiian bread for your table.

Disneyland - Snow White
Posted on - 3/7/2004
On Sunday I had the pleasure of seeing ”Snow White" The New Musical at Disneyland the Happiest Place on Earth. I had reservations since I was an Annual Pass holder. We had to line up at least half an hour before show time. Once in the Theatre, the audience awed over the wonderful set. The stage and Theatre were made to look like the audience was in an enchanted forest. On the audiences’ right had side was a gothic themed Turret were the Evil Queen stood most of the show. The Turret also had gothic gargoyles with red glowing eyes.
