1/15/2004

By: Glenda Werner
E-Mail Glenda

The Village Haus is located right by Dumbo and Casey Jones Circus train in Fantasyland. It is in a charming little Swiss-style chalet. The seating is ample and both indoor and outdoor. This is a great place to pick up a bite to eat and people watch in the outdoor seating area.

Who: Glenda, Alex (6) and Laurie (3 ˝)

Where: Village Haus

When: Friday, Dec. 5, 2003

What: Dinner; Turkey sandwich with chips, 2 Mini-Hotdogs kid meals; Hot Chocolate.

Approximate price of entrees: $21

Rate the following (1-5 where 1-Poor, 2-Fair, 3-Good/Average, 4-Very Good, 5-Excellent)

  • Food: 4
  • Service: 3, counter service.
  • Atmosphere: 3

Okay for Children: Yes

Okay for Couples: Yes

Be sure to try: The turkey sandwich.

General tips: The turkey sandwich was very good. The wheat bread tastes homemade, and you add your own condiments. The kids got 2 mini hot dogs each with fries and a drink.

Extra comments: Finding a table might be difficult during busy times.
