Here at Hong Kong Disneyland we have two brand new super cool Disneyland theme resort hotels. There is the grand Victorian elegance of the luxurious Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel where European grandeur meets with signature Disney style. The second hotel is the Hong Kong Disneyland Hollywood Hotel where you can step on stage, as the lights, camera, and action, of a glittering era live again. Today I'm walking through the door of Hong Kong Disneyland's Hollywood Hotel, please come on and join me!

 

The hotel is filled with color and chrome everywhere. Everything is custom made to Disney standards where the lines meet in circles. I'm told that the Hollywood Hotel is a three star hotel, but I will tell you something. If the hotel is a three star hotel, the service by the cast members is better than six stars! The main lobby area is huge with several sofas spread throughout.

 

There are hidden Mickey everywhere, but some are real hard to find. The hotel has a book where you can check off all of the hidden Mickey you can find, fun for sure. I'm feeling hungry, let's check out the "Sunset Terrace"!

Overlooking the pool, the Sunset Terrace is an oasis of fun and comfort. Enjoy delectable al fresco dining that offers authentic, familiar Chinese and Asian cuisine, created with a magic touch in an innovative BBQ kitchen. What is special about dining at the Sunset Terrace is that the tables are not placed one on top of another. There is enough room to enjoy a family meal, or a romantic evening with someone special. The service is six star, and every cast member offers all a warm welcome smile. I feel that the Sunset Terrace has the most reasonable meal prices. Thus if your part of a big group, you will not have to visit the bank to pay for your meal. Once you have had your desert, take a stroll around the back lot of the resort.

The swimming pool is in the shape of a piano complete with a water slide. The paths around the pool are like mini roads, with vintage cars parked along the way. Photo opportunities are everywhere! Music is everywhere, popular songs of the 50's and 60's help put you in that "Hollywood" mood.
