Glory Road - A Review

Do you like basketball or sports movies???

Go see Glory Road!

Do you NOT like basketball or sports movies???...go see Glory Road anyway. Its not just about the game.

Do you like movies that make you feel good all inside? Movies that let you root for the underdog and see them over come great obstacles? Do you like movies that are strongly based on a true story and show humanity at its best?

Go see Glory Road!

As an adult: I loved every minute of this movie. The audience was totally into it. What a great movie!

As a mom: You bet I'm going to take my boys to see Glory Road when it comes out nation wide on the 13th! I know they will love it.

Glory Road is not a basketball version of Remember the Titans. Though they are similar in nature, same time period, same prejudices to over come and a sports based movie, the story line is quite different and if you stay through the credits, you will get to hear from the actual athletes themselves! What a treat!

Glory Road does a good job in showing how hard this particular obstacle was to over come. It shows the growth of grown men and college boys and reminds us how very far we have come as a people and a nation. I had a woman come up to me at the end of the movie and ask me when I put in my report to thank Disney for making this movie. I'm happy to say, I did.
