The long-awaited new branch of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Cinderella's Castle is finally open and ready to transform your little girl into a Princess of her dreams. The Boutique opened this past Monday for Cast members and their families only and will have its grand opening for guests on Monday the 10. For the past few days I have been watching the new Boutique and its gleeful guests and I must honestly say, there was not a time that the line was not out the door as kids eagerly awaited their turn at becoming a Disney Princess.
The manager stated that so far the Boutique has been very well received, even though it is opened only to cast members. Inside the Boutique, done up in true Disney Fashion, looks like a storybook room. As you enter, there are beautiful blue and pink draperies, there are two stations set up for appointments and registrations. To your right is a huge armoire, which is, filled with a fantastic choice of Princess Dresses, crowns, bags, shoes etc. Your little girl can go wild with the choices available. In the waiting room is a large, ornate sofa to wait on and in the Boutique itself, is a circular couch that parents and siblings can watch the magic happen.
There are eleven stations all together, each with a mirror reminiscent of the Magic mirror on the wall, a small white table on the side and of course, the chair the princess's will sit in. At this time, the manager stated that there will be two or three "Godmothers in Training" staffing each station which could change depending on how busy it gets. With that many Godmothers, you can be sure that your little girl will get all the attention she deserves.
When I came in today to take the pictures of the new Boutique, every station had a princess in the chair and there had to be at least a half dozen more in the Boutique waiting their turn. The manager stated now that the Castle Boutique is open, it would take the strain off the Boutique in Downtown Disney. Along with the choices of dresses and accessories, your child can choose from three packages: The Coach package for $44.95 which includes hairstyling, make-up and princess sash, the Crown package for $49.95 which also includes nails and the Castle package, which ranges from $179.95 to $229.95 depending on which gown and shoes picked, includes hairstyling, makeup, imaging package (6x8 and four 4x6 photos with a themed holder) and wand. Taxes not included.
There is also a package for young Prince's which include the "Cool Dude" service, which includes Hairstyling with colored gels. Due to the immense popularity of the Boutique, reservations are strongly suggested and these can be made 180 days in advance. They do accept walk-ins, but you have a better chance with the reservations. Your child must be at least 3years old and park admission is required. Call 407-WDW-STYLE (407-939-7895). I have uploaded pics of the new Boutique in the Magic Kingdom section.
