While in the Magic Kingdom last week, I decided to check up on the new "Tempo Grab and Go" on the fourth floor of the Contemporary Resort. The new counter service eatery is up and running and will be in place for at least a year until the new restaurant, yet unnamed replaces the Concourse Steak House. That in addition to the expansion of the Buena Vista Gift store will make the fourth floor a little hectic for a while.
Here is what is going on. The Old Food and Fun Center on the first floor is now gone. In its place will be the new restaurant named "The Wave" Once that is completed and opened, the Concourse Steak House will close, and a new Counter service restaurant will take its place. Until that new eatery opens, the Tempo Grab and Go will remain, and than will be removed and replaced with a small sitting area. I will keep tabs on the progress and give updates as they materialize.
