A few weeks ago, I reported that the train display at the Germany Pavilion was removed and most of the tracks were gone. After speaking to several cast members and one of the managers, I was informed that the trains were to be removed permanently and a different attraction would be in its stead.
As promised, I returned today to check on the progress if any and when I arrived, the tracks were replaced and the town was again being restored, abet with subtle changes in the arrangement, with many new structures. So I took another trip to speak to a manager and he stated that the original idea of changing the display for a different one was bandied about; and now it was decided to keep the train display, but with some new surprises and additions, which of course he was not at liberty to discuss at this time.
Disney is usually famous for changing its mind in midstream, even though plans are already made, and the project started. I will again make frequent stops to see if any more changes or decisions are made on the display.
