Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean

I' m certain you already know the likenesses of the Pirates are the artists themselves! I mean, think about it, what a strange casting call that would have been if they didn't use themselves! It’s many of the same faces, just facial hair, beards, moustaches, eyebrows, and costuming changed throughout.

Mr. Disney was always thinking of posterity!! Ever notice the Chinese Pirate? Well I noticed him one night while removing debris from the “Show area” (guests can be so thoughtful, they think the Pirates wanted their pop corn boxes) the fruit and chickens all along the Auction scene. The AudioAnimatronics some times move without the sound traveling through the speakers, and IS IT SPOOKY!!

See, when you 'lock out – tag out an attraction, you must crawl out that flume, waterfalls turntables and animation are active or inactive, depends upon if you are powering down or up, well I must have not heard, “Powering up”, because he moved before any of them and I almost had myself a heart attack! He leans front and backward, laughing! He’s bald except for a long ponytail, wearing a white shirt...so go see him for yourself, because I had nightmares about him for weeks!!

I had honestly expected that sort of thing while in the Mansion on assignment!!
