The site where Pirates is built is the same site of the former land owners' home. Mr. Ron Domingues’ father sold the orange groves to Mr. Disney with the condition that since his son would no longer have a job or land to inherit, that because of this “kiddie park”, he is giving up his birthright, Disney should give him a job for life! Mr. Ron Domingues still serves in the top echelon for the Park. NOBODY makes deals like THAT anymore!! My grandpa told me that one too!! |
