| Be sure to catch the Flag Retreat Ceremony on Main Street at Town Square in Disneyland. I think it's about 4o'clock these days. The Disneyland Marching Band plays the Star Spangled Banner and the Security staff takes the Flag down.
It's the ONE thing Mr. Disney said would always be done WITHOUT FAIL AS LONG AS DISNEYLAND EXISTED! It is something not to be missed! I think the only other place one could see such fine execution of a flag retreat is from the Marines themselves at the White House! Very Sharp! Shiny shoes, perfectly executed movements. My God son Cody is in ROTC and he said they did it perfectly, folded the flag 13 times, and marched in perfect step. it is so nice!! |
