Crystal Carving...

Inside the Arribas Crystal Shop hangs the unique crystal carving of Walt himself. It hangs high over the glass crafter's work area and the doorway (the doorway that would exit to Blue Bayou/Club 33 (there are three doorways at the Crystal Shop.) It is there in a gold frame that hangs in a diamond shape, shows Mr. Disney with a big smile and it is ONE OF A KIND.

It was made by the Arribas Bros. who got the lease early in the days of the Park. The Main Street Crystal Shop was the first location; New Orleans Square was the second location. It is a really a fine piece of craftsmanship! I do marvel at it sometimes.

Also, notice the beautiful mosaic thresholds in the Crystal Shop and in the Jewel of Orleans (But to me, will always be Mademoiselle Antoinette's Parfumerie.) They too are a marvel of craftsmanship, not to be overlooked. You will find them again in the Le Bat En Rouge (Jack Skellington store. Again, to me, this will always be Mrs. Disney's One of a Kind shop.) It was Mrs. Disney who oversaw the particulars of this shop.

All of New Orleans Square is built on the site of the Domingues Family home, it was their orange grove before it was the Magic Kingdom. You will notice the Window on Main Street at the Market House, walking up Main Street towards the Castle; it is the window over the corner entrance to the Market House. Ron Domingues Orange Grove Property Management. Slogan :"we'll take care of your property as if it were our own" well it WAS his own, until Disneyland.
