My wife being pregnant had her ultrasound yesterday for her 20th week doctors’ visit. Expecting a normal image of the baby we headed off to the doctor bright and early. Some of you know, that before an ultrasound you have to drink an enormous amount of water, to help push the baby “up” to get a better view of it. Needless to say, the doctor was an hour late so my wife was dieing from the pain of drinking so much water. When the doctor came into the exam room, we were very anxious to get started.

Just like when we had Makenna a couple of years ago, I was nervous and excited with the idea of seeing my little baby so early. The doctor started the exam, a fuzzy image developed on the screen as he moved the device over my wife’s stomach. I was looking intently trying to recognize the subtle shapes that were being rendered on the monitor when the doctor looked up at as and said, “You know there are two in here right?” Well needless to say we were shocked! TWINS! Oh my, what are we going to do… You are expecting and planning on having one baby, and to your utter surprise you have to adjust your plans for two! I did some quick math and to my disbelief in three short years, it is going to cost us almost $2,000 a year in annual passes to go to Disneyland!!!!

Well I just want to let you all know that Mickey News is growing by two. The due date is February 5th and we will keep you posted on the progress. In the mean time, I need to find 5 more jobs to pay for them!
