Did you know the NAME of the Indian who stands in front of what began as the Main Street Tobacco Shop? Chief Standsalot!! So many kids just love to take their picture next to him. Sometimes the Chief takes a break and somehow unnoticed, meanders his way to Fronteirland! He never breaks his expression. He has been doing this all on his own for nearly 50 years now. The Buckingham Palace Guards 'got nothin' on him!! All those people posing with him for pictures still hasn't gone to his head!! The Chief holds the distinction of the very few Disneyland 'Cast Members' ... to be addressed, not simply by first name...with a title and by last name! |
