Being true to the ride was the best part I think. Johnny Depp. I'm in love with Captain Jack Sparrow. I missed it in the theatres and I can kick my behind now. I saw it only on DVD. It was late at night when I watched it and I figured I'd watch some and then nod off to sleep. But no, I was up until 3:00 am watching, laughing, grasping the blanket. One of the best ever. I tell everyone if they haven't seen it they can borrow my dvd, it's that great.

Not only was the acting amazing the cinemtography was just astounding. (forgive me for my horrible spelling) Johnny Depp was hilarious and his costume and make up was amazing. Orlando Bloom was wonderful (an nice change from seeing him as an elf). Keira Knightly was enchanting and so beautiful. And Geoffrey Rush was the best Pirate bad guy! And not only was it an amazing scripit it also stayed pretty true to the ride. It was nifty to see what they put in there from the ride, from the men trying to get the keys fromt he dog to the guy sleeping with the pigs. I couldn't have pictured a better movie made from a ride. If they are going to make a remake let's hope they can bring back this amazing cast. Needless to say I love it!
