Two young Edinburgh dancers are off to Disneyland Paris following a double success at a dance event in Blackpool.
Tamara Robertson, ten, and Blayne Leich, seven, who both train at the city's Quilietti School of Dancing, took top prizes at the Disco Kid 2008 competition on Sunday.
The event, attended by around 6000 people and held at Blackpool Tower, featured competitors from around the world.
Tamara, who was named Association of Dance and Freestyle Professionals World Champion last summer, beat around 250 competitors while Blayne took on around 200 competitors.
Both have previously taken the top prize in the under-six competition.
Teacher Fiona Quilietti said: "I'm just so proud of the girls. The Disco Kid competition used to be a UK event but its grown into an international competition. To come out tops in the face of such competition is a great achievement."
