This May 1st, Disney's Hollywood Studios celebrates its 20th Anniversary, and the fan organization WDWCelebrations will be there to commemorate it. This fan organization began back in 2007 with Epcot's 25th Anniversary, and also celebrated Animal Kingdom's 10th Anniversary last April. Read our coverage here.
The two-day event, called "Studio 20" will be held May 1-2, 2009, and offers attendees many opportunities to meet and spend time with like-minded Disney park fans while commemorating two decades of the Walt Disney World Resort's third theme park. The schedule is packed with fun group activities including group rides on several of the top attractions at the park, as well as a Scavenger Hunt and History Walk. More details on the Studio 20 event can be found at the WDWCelebrations website. If you're planning to be in Orlando, be sure to join the fun. But hurry! Pre-registration is required (a nominal fee is charged) but registration closes this weekend on April 18!
Mickey News also featured an interview with the two founders of WDWCelebrations last fall, so for more information about the organization and its beginnings, check out Bill's article here.
Mickey News is proud to be supporting WDWCelebrations with their newest event and once again Bill will be in attendance at Studio 20. We'll keep you posted with the latest news from the event and more upcoming fun from WDWCelebrations.
