A group of young musicians are preparing to travel to Paris where they will perform in the world-famous Disneyland next month.
Students at Monmouth School who perform in the junior symphonic winds section took part in a rigorous selection process to win the chance to perform at the music magic day event in front of thousands of tourists.
The performance is part of a week-long tour to France for the all-male group, aged between 11 and 13.
A spokeswoman for the school said the group had to send a recording of their performance to a selection panel in Paris, which was followed by an audition via video link in order to join other musicians from around the world.
The students performed a selection of well-known film scores and big band and jazz numbers for the first time at a recent concert held in St Mary's Church in Monmouth.
