Disneyland is the Disney Companies flagship theme park. This was the first park that was built and opened July 1955. It continues to grow to this day and is one of California’s hottest theme park destinations.

Walt Disney World plans to bring out a new sidewalk show to coincide with the new High School Musical 3 movie due out this fall.

The show at Disney's Hollywood Studios, also to be called "High School Musical 3, Senior Year" will open the same date as the movie, Oct. 24, and will reflect the movie's themes and story line, said Disney World spokeswoman Zoraya Suarez.

The new show will replace the current "High School Musical 2: School's Out!," shown above at left in a Walt Disney World photo. The show includes a parade through the park's streets and a show stop in the central square, several times a day. Suarez said the third version will have the same high energy, with new songs, costumes and sets.

The current show goes dark Sept. 13. Many of its cast and crew are expected to be involved in the next show, though many will have to re-audition, she said.
