Santa Ana police today asked anyone who recently bought phony Disneyland Park Hopper passes to contact them.

Police arrested Vaughn Hutchins on suspicion of selling the phony tickets Wednesday while trying to sell tickets to someone at the Santa Ana train depot. Investigators want any potential victims to step forward to help with the investigation.

The scam started with advertisements of the tickets on the Craigslist website. Typically the tickets would be advertised for three at $125. Disney is selling 3-day passes for individuals from $154 to $184 online.

The buyers would be turned away at the theme park because the tickets are invalid, police said.

Anyone would bought phony Disneyland tickets is asked to call Detective Michael Gibbons at (714) 245-8439.
