Disneyland is the Disney Companies flagship theme park. This was the first park that was built and opened July 1955. It continues to grow to this day and is one of California’s hottest theme park destinations.

DISNEY'S FASTPASS® OFFERED ON SELECT DISNEYLAND® AND DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE™ ATTRACTIONS AS A GREAT TIMESAVER FOR GUESTS
Mickey News
9/3/2003

Disney's FASTPASS® made its official debut at DISNEYLAND® park in 1999 as a part of a phased rollout with "it's a small world holiday" the first attraction to be equipped with the timesaving device. Since then, DISNEYLAND attractions have been outfitted to offer the virtual queuing program on a regular basis. These include "Space Mountain," "The Indiana Jones™ Adventure," "Autopia", "Big Thunder Mountain," "Star Tours," "it's a small world holiday," "Pirates of the Carribbean," and "the Haunted Mansion."

DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE™ also offers Disney's FASTPASS® on several attractions. These include "California Screamin'" "It's tough to be a Bug!," "Grizzly River Run," Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3D™," "Soarin' Over California," and "Mulholland Madness." Disney's FASTPASS enables participating guests to receive a complimentary voucher listing a computer-assigned boarding time for an attraction. This is an alternative to waiting in line, and allows more time to visit other attractions, dine or shop before returning to ride at the designated boarding time.

"We're very excited having Disney's FASTPASS available for our guests here at the DISNEYLAND® Resort," said Cynthia Harriss, president of the DISNEYLAND Resort. "Our guests' response has been very positive, as it is a real timesaver. The system has proven to be a big hit." For general DISNEYLAND Resort information, call (714) 781-4565 or visit the DISNEYLAND Resort Web site at www.disneyland.com.
