Fowl-mouthed animated character Donald Duck will receive his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The cartoon duck, 70, will be honoured in a ceremony when his star is unveiled outside a Disney Store at 6840 Hollywood Boulevard, according to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which bestows the awards. Donald Duck made his debut in 1934 in a Disney Silly Symphony cartoon, The Wise Little Hen. Donald Duck will be the 2,257th star on the walk but he is not the first animated character to receive the honour. Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny and the Simpsons have already claimed their stars.
