The man who jumped to his death from a 14th floor balcony of the Disneyland Hotel was identified today as a Santa Cruz resident, police said.
John Henry Newman Jr., 48, was said to have been on a business trip and staying with an associate who was in the room when Newman jumped to his death on Friday, said Anaheim police Sgt. Rick Martinez.
Martinez called the leap intentional.
Newman had made a statement that he was going to jump and did so before the business associate could stop him, police said.
