Africa The land of "Africa" is the largest of the lands in the Animal Kingdom. The "Savannah" here is home to many of the authentic creatures one might find on a visit taken halfway around the world. As you enter Africa, you will come upon the village of "Harambe", full of shops and restaurants; this is the center of this land. From its authentic architecture, to its marvelous landscaping, there is no lack of "African Atmosphere" here.
In true Disney style however, there’s some fantastic attractions for all visitors who enter here.

Asia Enter Asia and it’s quaint village of Anandapur. "Asia" will take you to lands strikingly similar to those of places thousands of miles, and continents, away. The last of the "lands" to be opened in the Animal Kingdom, one will be amazed at the replicated Asian rain-forest and rich architecture. As with all lands in this park, the many creatures of "Asia" are native.

Camp Minnie-Mickey Of all the lands in Animal Kingdom this is the most whimsical and the most "Disney". Camp Minnie-Mickey is the "summer camp" of which all those plush, lovable Disney characters you have come to know and love attend daily. Here is where you will find many of your character "Meet and Greet" spots, as well as some wonderful shows.

DinoLand U.S.A. DinoLand, U.S.A. is a bit different from the lands of Africa and Asia. While it is not as rich in architecture, culture, and creatures, it’s definitely much more Pre-Historic! Guests who enter here are greeted by a 50-foot skeleton of a brachiosaurus. Cleverly constructed to incorporate history, fun, and science... you may find it hard to get your children to go onto the other lands once they find this place.

Discovery Island Discovery Island is the hub of Animal Kingdom. Rich in bright colors, this "island", Discovery Island, is center of the park. It is best known however, as being home to the landmark of Animal Kingdom, the awesome "Tree of Life". Home to many shops and restaurants, you pass through here on your way in and out of any of the spectacular lands you visit here.

The Oasis Once one passes through the entrance gates of Animal Kingdom you immediately enter "The Oasis". Although the Oasis isn’t a land of attractions and rides, it does offer a pleasant respite for those wishing to enjoy the serene sights and sounds of nature.
While it lacks shop and restaurants, it is rich is teeming waterfalls and sparkling streams. This peaceful jewel is also home to many species of wild life, from prancing deer to colorful birds. So before you hurry through - on your way to one of the many "lands" of the Animal Kingdom Park - linger here for a bit. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Rafiki's Planet Watch This is the area where you can take a backstage look at the veterinary headquarters and center for Disney's Animal Kingdom conservation programs. Visitors can enjoy interactive experiences and meet wildlife experts to discover how they can help endangered animals around the world. In The Affection Section, you can meet and touch fascinating animals in a shaded petting yard.
