Is it true that Muppet Vision 3D comes to Disneyland Paris? And I already want to know when Splash Mountain comes to Disneyland Paris. Is Splash Mountain an attraction for the second part of the anniversary?

Reported by: I Love Disney on: 2/22/2008

Can anyone tell me which attractions will come to Disneyland Paris in 2009?

There will be no splah mountain! The place next to the railroad is the NEW wodys roundup village, which is basicaly a big photo op for toy story charcters!

The Small World will expand in two ways, with new countries and ethnic groups represented along the ride, and bigger boats that can hold more weight for all the fat people who make up our society at large.

What will be build at the place where Critter Corral was? Could it be Splash Mountain?

Reported by: Splash Mountain fan on: 9/30/2007

There already is a Splash Mountain.

United Kingdom, Holland, Russia and even the United States are featured at “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Park (Paris). However, it seems that the list is not complete. Numerous guests have complained at City Hall about the missing of their country at the world’s best known attraction. There for, Imagineers have started working on a plan to make the world bigger. Not by enlarging the size of the show building, but by indexing all countries that are represented. Double or triple entries will be considered to be replaced by a missing country, for example Belgium, Portugal or possibly the “new” European countries. There’s no timeframe yet, but indexing has already started and should result in welcoming the world’s expansion soon.

Ok booeisner if you did work for the company, was the pride mountain a disney creation, because a boy claimed he desighned it himself, is this true.

     Reported by: jakehollier@hotmail.com on: 5/22/2007

I know this response is rather late, but I have been very busy lately. To answer your question, there was work being done on an attraction called Pride Mountain when I was there. I don't know if we are talking about the same attraction, because I do believe there were several different attractions with that same name. The one I remember was a Lion King rollercoaster. The mountain looked just like the one from the movie. You were trying to escape from Scar. Now, I don't know about any boy designing it. The design was strictly inhouse Imagineering.

Everyone knows about the large amount of space behind the indy ride, but I have ehard that another indy ride maybe place behind it, the company said there very excited because its the first time two indy rides are together, but I have seen concept art of pride mountain and I would rather see that wud anyone else.

     Reported by: jakehollier@hotmail.com on: 3/16/2007

Yes, I would totally love seeing Pride Mountain instead of another Indy attraction which I didn't hear of but I really think this is really what Disneyland Paris needed. Instead of Splash Mountain like the other theme parks Disneyland Paris has there own moutain based on the Lion King. Plus the concept art was fantastic!

For the 15th Anniversary Celebration, Disney promised the "biggest Disney birthday bash ever". Now, what comes with a big party? You've guessed it - a hangover! And judging by the latest Park Hours schedules, Disneyland Park is planning for more than a few late starts to compensate for the large-scale anniversary events - time to wave goodbye to that 9am start. Park Hours have now been announced up until the end of May 2007, with the first two months of the 15th Anniversary year standing out with not a single 9h00 opening of either Disneyland Park or Walt Disney Studios Park, the usual standard opening time for peak days. In return for this sacrafice, though, we do get some of the first 10pm Disneyland Park closures over Easter in memory - for a whole week infact. Though again this appears to come at a price - 10am to 7pm openings for most of the month of May 2007. The reason for this sudden change is not only the Anniversary events and the resort's new "demand-based opening hours", but the new Extra Magic Hours concept, available to all Disney Hotel guests for the entire year. Giving an extra two hours in Disneyland Park on specific days, the system therefore sometimes requires the general park hours to be shortened slightly, whilst on high peak days (such as those in mid August), the extra hours are consistently scheduled in the morning so as not to clash with the general 11pm closure. For guests not staying at Disney Hotel this year, it therefore looks like an extra hour in bed will be your anniversary gift, unless you wish to invest in a Passeport Annuel Dream and enjoy the 1-hour early entry this pass affords its holders. Finally, perhaps the true winner from the latest Park Hours shakeup - Walt Disney Studios Park. After almost five years of nothing but 6pm closures, the park hits its fifth birthday and suddenly gets an extra hour before bedtime to enjoy the anniversary - likely in preparation for the extra guests hopefully arriving in June 2007 for Crush's Coaster and Cars Race Rally. The park will now remain open up to 7pm on most weekends and holidays, yet another reason to celebrate in 2007!

DLRP New Toon Studio concept revealed (the real one) The magic of Disney doesn't come much better than this. Just as the Toon Studio placemaking project was beginning to fade away into nothing, a stunning new concept arrives to show us exactly where they're heading with the blue and gold makeover. Posted by burne on DisneyMagicInteractive.com, the concept takes the view of a guest just stepped out of Disney Studio 1, looking towards the brand new Sorcerer Mickey statue, a repainted and redecorated Art of Disney Animation and more. The concept features several previously unknown details, such as the appearance of not only Tinkerbell, Peter Pan and Wendy on the Sorcerer Hat (from Walt Disney World's Happiest Celebration On Earth decorations), but also Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo and Ariel. The stars, lines and moon of the Hat are repainted gold and joined by several 3D lines spiralling upwards, whilst the base of the Sorcerer Mickey statue and new decorations on the lighting rigs mimicks the stars and lines design of the Hat. However, it has already been confirmed that the redecoration of the lighting rigs in this way is unlikely. As for the statue itself, Mickey is shown as a fully gold statue, unlike the full-colour statue all other concepts show. The words "Toon Studio" are featured beautifully below. The blue and pink repaint of Art of Disney Animation has covered the entire building, and the pistachio green canopy of Cars Race Rally can be seen along with Crush's Studio 5 in the distance. The concept appears to be one of the closest to reality we've seen so far, and certainly shows the style and vibrancy this project is trying to extract from the Studios' existing land. The budget of the Toon Studio placemaking is reportedly far less than that of Hollywood Studio (Hollywood Boulevard), giving even more promise for the entire park, beyond Mickey's wondrous piece of sorcery. HOLLYWOOD STUDIO/BLV IN Disneyland Paris Whilst the Hollywood Studio project will eventually encompass the whole of Production Courtyard, from Studio Tram Tour right the way around to Rendez-Vous des Stars restaurant, the first major phase of work will take place between Disney Studio 1 and Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic, adding around eight sets and façades to create a small Hollywood Boulevard area. Designed to compliment The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, they will also lead on from where Disney Studio 1 begins, towards a tunnel in the Hollywood Hills doubling as the entrance for Studio Tram Tour. Almost all of the set elements, except notibly the backdrop and tunnel, will be replicas of those found at Disney's two existing Hollywood streets. First, Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard at Disney-MGM Studios Florida, opened between 1989 and 1994. Second, Hollywood Pictures Backlot at Disney's California Adventure park (DCA), opened 2001. Whilst these streets are similar to the traditional Main Street, with the façades hiding stores and restaurants in standard buildings behind, the Parisian Hollywood Boulevard will feature only the façades themselves, giving the effect of a true movie set similar to the current "Reign of Fire" or "Les Parapluies de Cherbourg" features. The reverse of the sets will be hidden by trees and vegetation. This is a full guide to everything we know so far, updated whenever new confirmations or rumours arrive!

I'm just hoping Toon Studios will get newer attractions in the near future like maybe the Incredibles or Roger Rabbit or maybe even Chicken Little. Tower of Terror is coming & thats cool but you do have a point about coming with different ideas & I like that but I do hope for a Splash Mountain will make its arrivial at Disneyland Paris but people had told me so many times that it won't happen, I know its very sad.
