Disney's original old-fashioned 'swimmin' hole' is where you just might bump into Tom Sawyer and Huckelberry Finn cooling off after a run-in with Aunt Becky! Adjoining the rustic (by Disney standards) Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground the park actually sits on the shores of Bay Lake, the body of water in front of the Magic Kingdom® Park. A roped off section of the lake offers a great collection of slides, rope swings, rickety bridges, and a boom swing - these offer big fun rather than big thrills. Whoop 'N' Holler Hollow drops riders off into a heated swimming pool after a series of twisting turning body flumes, while White Water Rapids is a tube ride through a collection of gently descending slides and pools. Little ones are very well provided for as they splash around an area set aside just for them or play on the beach. Definitely a lazier kind of day with just enough action to keep everyone amused.
