In learning the art of storytelling by animation, I have discovered that language has an anatomy. Every spoken word, whether uttered by a living person or by a cartoon character, has its facial grimace, emphasizing the meaning. — Walt Disney

@FrreeHugs
Rather than point out all the flaws in your logic, I will simply say one thing:
I wouldn’t exactly call it logic it’s true pretty much by definition, if it wasn’t Disney would have still been making this sort of stuff. Don’t misunderstand – movies like this were perfect for their time, and are still good movies which define their era but not for modern audiences. It would be like if Elvis came back, he wouldn’t be even half as popular, but he was perfect for his time and defined that era.
THIS IS NOT RACIST!! — Maybe it’d be racist if the monkey was black, the singer was black, he was singing to a white boy, and if they were in Africa BUT the monkey’s orange, the singers an Italian from New Orleans( that’s why he sounds cajun/cicilian), he’s singing to an Indian boy and they’re in India. so… shut up..
@FrreeHugs If animation looked as good now as it did in this, then TONS of people would go to watch this. At the very least parents would take their kids to it. Have you seen the junk that passes as a kid’s film nowadays? Not nearly as fun or memorable as this, and often thrown together in a sloppy manner. These old movies were carefully crafted over years and years. New movies get maybe a year at most.
