New Magic At The Castle…”Let’s Have A Ball” Interactive Show

October 6, 2006

BDPRICNESSAURORAPRINCEPHILLIPThere is new magic for the little ones behind Cinderella’s Castle. Starting this Monday, a new interactive show began which will allow the kids to experience how the Lords and Ladies of Cinderella’s court get together and dance, play games and to “Live Happily ever after”. All kids are invited to learn how to do the Limbo and Simon Sez and other entertaining games with “Lady Lucienda” and the Party Helpers.

As Lady Lucienda descends the stairway and onto the stage, that is when the fun begins. The Party Makers and Lucienda gather the kids and the first game up was the Limbo Rock, done to classic Disney tunes. The Helpers pull open a large pink silken fabric and the kids get to Limbo under it! From the expressions of the kids there, they were having a ball. Lucienda and the Party Makers were full of enthusiasm and very animated and the kids jumped right in. After this, a game resembling Musical Chairs began, except when the music stopped, the kids had to hold whatever pose they were in. This was the funniest, because all the kids did their best to hold still and their expressions were timeless!

BDTWOPARTYMAKERSOther games included “Simon Sez”. This was a hit also, the kids got tripped up every time the Party Helper did not use “Simon” in the sentence. And the best for last, Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip appeared for the kids, and stayed around for pictures and autographs. All in all, this is a nice show, basically for kids 3 to 7. There were a few older ones, but since this is a new attraction, only time will tell how far it develops. The Shows are at 10am-11am-12pm-1pm-2:40pm-3:50pm and 4:55pm. They are held at the back of Cinderella’s Castle. This will be a great place for parents to take a 20 minute break and let the kids burn up that endless energy! Nice job Disney.
