During the recent D23 Expo, attendees were given the first look at the model of the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land, which is currently under construction at both the Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resort.
The model was the first look at the new Star Wars-inspired land that will transport guests to a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space. Once the land opens in 2019, visiting guests will be able to indulge in an adventure at two signature attractions: one that lets guests take the controls of Millennium Falcon on a customized secret mission, and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
