Not only is there so much to see and do in the fall at Walt Disney World Resort, there is so much to taste! Epcot International Food & Wine Festival lets you eat your way around the world tasting and sipping culinary highlights from across the globe. Here are a few recommendations from theDisney Parks Moms Panelists on how to not miss a thing during this seasonal event.

Its always a good idea to prepare for your culinary tasting adventure by reading the menus ahead of time, says Jackie P. She also recommends visiting the Festival Welcome Center before heading over to World Showcase to pick up a festival map and passport. The map shows the locations of each marketplace, while the passport highlights menus and helps you keep track of which countries you’ve visited by collecting a stamp at each location.

Wilma N. suggests you set yourself a budget and put it on an Epcot International Food & Wine Festival gift card wristlet, allowing you to keep it handy. Andrea H. shares that utilizing your snack allotments for small plates at the Global Marketplaces is a great way to try something new if you are using a Disney dining plan.

Andrea U. recommends you skip the dining reservations for the day and eat half way around World Showcase for lunch, starting in the Mexico Pavilion, and complete your trip around the world for dinner, ending in the Canada Pavilion. Visiting on a weekday is best, as Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a very popular event, says Wilma N.

There is so much more to do at Epcot International Food & Wine Festival than tasting your way through World Showcase. Jackie P. says the Festival Welcome Center is a “do not miss” because celebrity and Disney chefs have been known to stop by for live demonstrations and tasting seminars. You can also find special Epcot International Food & Wine Festival merchandise at the festival center, plus book special events. Also, Brandy B. recommends stopping by The American Garden Theater for live music and dancing during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
