One of the coolest things about Orlando is the weather, right? We don’t have a harsh winter, so over here it’s pool season pretty much all year long. And there’s nothing like playing or relaxing by the pool with your whole family. The other day I took one of the funniest videos ever of my mom and my children playing in the swimming pool. I could not stop laughing. What a wonderful family time!

And apparently I’m not the only one with a thing for the water. Walt Disney World Resort hotels swimming pools are extremely popular and quite fun for the kids and grownups alike. There are pools with sandy play areas, lazy river, themed pools, hot tubs, quiet pools for restful relaxation, slides, well, you get the picture. There is a pool for everyone. So, choosing your Disney Resort Hotel based on the kind of a pool they have can be very interesting. There’s a few of them at every single resort.

For example, you can’t miss the immersive experience of listening to music underwater at The Big Blue Pool, the largest at Walt Disney World Resort with 310,000 gallons at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. And with family suite-style rooms that sleep up to six people, this resort is perfect for families traveling together.

There are so many options, but one of my other favorite pools is at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Samawati Springs Pool has a 128-foot water slide. Talk about grand adventure! I totally encourage all grandparents, parents and children alike to make a splash this summer, share your pool stories with us using #DisneyGrandAdventure, and have a wonderful Disney vacation!
