A colorful celebration is underway as Disney Cruise Line proudly announces the completion of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! This vibrant new destination, located on the beautiful island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas, is ready to welcome its first guests on June 6, marking an exciting milestone for Disney Cruise enthusiasts.

Thomas Mazloum, President of New Experiences Portfolio and Disney Signature Experiences, recently shared stunning images to commemorate this achievement. One of the standout features is the Goombay Cultural Center, set to be the heart of a lively Junkanoo festival. Expect dazzling performances as local Junkanoo groups, resplendent in traditional attire, bring the parade to life for visitors to enjoy.

Adding to the festive spirit, Mickey and Minnie make a grand appearance in newly designed costumes by Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett. These outfits, infused with local cultural elements like straw details and conch shells, provide a perfect homage to the rich heritage of The Bahamas.

In a heartfelt LinkedIn post, Thomas Mazloum extended his gratitude to the teams from Disney Cruise Line, Walt Disney Imagineering, and the native Bahamians who collaborated to bring Lookout Cay to life. He expressed his excitement for the Disney Magic’s inaugural visit and invited guests to experience this dream destination.
