Disneyland Resort executive pastry chef Jean-Marc Viallet has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Pastry Chefs in America by Dessert Professional Magazine in the publication’s 23rd annual awards. The recognition honors pastry chefs who have distinguished themselves as innovators, leaders and mentors in the field.

A native of France, the award-winning chef joined Disney 17 years ago and leads the team at the Disneyland Resort Central Bakery. Jean-Marc describes his style as “innovative, focusing on taste being visually attractive and avant-garde, but in the story line.” His favorites desserts? “Chocolate, with creamy and crunchy textures.”

The selected chefs are being honored tonight at an event in New York City. Our congratulations and thanks to Jean-Marc for his years of delighting Disneyland Resort guests with delectable delicacies!
