Great news for Marvel fans! The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is expanding once again with an exciting new series featuring Paul Bettany’s widely loved character, Vision. The series, still untitled, is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026. Renowned for his work on “Star Trek: Picard,” Terry Matalas will take the helm as showrunner, and the writers’ room officially opened this week.

Bettany, who has played Vision in three Marvel films, the acclaimed series “WandaVision,” and even voiced Tony Stark’s AI, JARVIS, in the “Iron Man” trilogy, will reprise his role. This continuation of Vision’s story picks up from the dramatic climax of “WandaVision.” Vision is resurrected in a new, stark-white form without his memories. These memories are eventually restored, paving the way for his new adventures.

This upcoming Vision series is the second spinoff from “WandaVision.” The first, “Agatha All Along,” features Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness—Wanda’s intriguing neighbor and fellow witch. This series is expected to enchant audiences when it debuts in September.

Terry Matalas, celebrated for co-creating and running “12 Monkeys” and his work on “MacGyver” and “Star Trek: Picard,” brings a wealth of experience to the Marvel universe. Fans eagerly await how he will weave Vision’s new narrative.
