#DisneyFamilia: Celebrando a Mexico!

To kick off the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15), the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot is having their Fiestas Patrias.

This special event celebrating Mexican Independence will take place at the pavilion this Saturday, September 16.

Guests and their familia will be able to join cast members at Plaza de los Amigos for a Discovery Experience. This muy divertido scavenger hunt will help them learn more about Mexico and its Independence.

The clues to answer the questions for the scavenger hunt will be hidden throughout the pavilion, which will be decorated for the occasion. Upon completion, guests will receive a small certificate to commemorate the special celebration.

So if you are vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort this Saturday, be sure to stop by the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot. This event, included with Epcot park admission, starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.

Be sure to also check out the Mexico marketplace at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival for some yummy food and drinks!
