Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs Expansion Opens for Previews!

Greetings, fellow Disney fans! Exciting news from across the Pacific: the highly anticipated Fantasy Springs expansion at Tokyo DisneySea has officially opened its gates for unpaid previews ahead of its grand opening in June! This $2 billion addition features stunning new areas themed to Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan, making it a must-see for Disney enthusiasts. Here’s everything you need to know to be among the first to experience this enchanting realm.

Nestled between Lost River Delta and Arabian Coast, the entry to Fantasy Springs greets guests with magical springs adorned with beloved characters like Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Peter Pan. Once inside, you’ll find three distinct areas. Frozen Kingdom offers breathtaking views of Arendelle and the thrill of Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey. Rapunzel’s Forest features an eye-catching tower and the delightful Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival attraction. Over in Peter Pan’s Never Land, you’ll encounter Captain Hook’s pirate ship and the iconic Skull Rock, with the Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure and Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies rounding out the magical offerings.

Currently, access to Fantasy Springs doesn’t require a virtual queue or Standby Pass, although Standby Pass and Mobile Order are necessary for attractions and restaurants. No word on when Disney Premier Access might become available, but be sure to stay updated via the Tokyo Disney Resort app, which is indispensable for visiting the park and checking real-time information.

The soft openings, which began on May 15th, will pause briefly for scheduled paid previews from May 21-22 and again from May 28-June 2 for the FUNderful Fan Club. These previews might mean limited or no access for non-ticketed guests, so plan your visit accordingly. The app is your best friend for navigating these changes, ensuring you don’t miss out on any details.

We’re eager to hear from those who’ve already explored Fantasy Springs. What are your impressions? Have you experienced any of the new attractions?
