Shanghai, February 3, 2016 – Tickets for Shanghai Disney Resort’s theme park, Shanghai Disneyland – an authentically Disney, distinctly Chinese destination with world-class attractions and premium guest experiences – will go on sale to the public beginning March 28, 2016.
A ticket to Shanghai Disneyland, which will open on June 16, 2016, will offer guests an experience unlike any other in the world. With six themed lands demonstrating Disney’s relentless innovation and famous creativity, Shanghai Disneyland will be a world-class destination that provides the best of Disney to the people of China, creating a guest experience that only Disney can deliver.
All tickets will be date-specific and valid for admission only for the date purchased.
The price of admission during the grand opening period (June 16-30, 2016) is set at 499 RMB. The first official guests will join the exciting celebration of the resort’s historic milestone.
Following the grand opening period, regular price of admission to the theme park is set at 370 RMB. Peak pricing for high-demand dates, including designated holidays, summer holidays and weekends, is set at 499 RMB. Special pricing will be provided to many guests. Children (1.4M and below), seniors (65 years old and above) and guests with disabilities will receive discounts of 25%. Infants (1.0M and below) receive free admission. A two-day ticket will be available at a 5% discount.
A ticket to the park will provide a full day of world-class family entertainment and immersive storytelling experiences. One ticket provides admission and access to all of Shanghai Disneyland’s attractions and entertainment inside the theme park.
