Are you ready for some rose gold REALNESS? Well, then this month’s Best Bites is for you! Alongside some amazing new items across Walt Disney World Resort, we’re kicking off 2018 with a brand-new addition to Disney’s family of rose gold offerings: a ROSE GOLD MINNIE MOUSE CUPCAKE! This absolutely adorable vanilla cupcake is now available at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot and is topped with chocolate-hazelnut swirls, rose gold buttercream, fondant ears, edible glitter and chocolate pearls. I had the opportunity to try this cupcake myself, and I can definitely say it’s a new favorite. It also makes for a perfect “Insta”-opportunity.

In other exciting news, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant at Disney Springs recently took the spotlight in the The Daily Meal’s list of “Best Food and Drink in Florida for 2018.” The award-winning Irish restaurant was chosen as the “Best Irish Pub” in Florida, as well as being listed among The Daily Meal’s “America’s 25 Best Irish Pubs” list. If you haven’t been, Raglan Road is located in The Landing at Disney Springs and offers an authentic Irish experience with delicious Celtic cuisine, refreshing pints and live music and entertainment. You definitely won’t want to miss it!

To round out January’s new offerings, Magic Kingdom Park has started the new year with some delicious new items! The popular monthly offerings are back this year, with Casey’s Corner serving up a Teriyaki Hot Diggity Dog as January’s Hot Dog of the Month, an all-beef hot dog with roasted pineapple and onions, drizzled with Teriyaki sauce and topped with green onions. At Pinocchio Village Haus, a Meat Lovers Flatbread takes center stage as the Featured Flatbread and comes topped with sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon bits, red sauce and cheese.

On the sweet side, The Plaza Restaurant’s Milkshake of the Month is a yummy peanut butter cup milkshake, with chocolate and peanut butter ice cream and chocolate sauce topped with whipped cream, peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, and of course, a cherry! And right next door, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is scooping up some colorful Rainbow Sherbert this month.

And last but not certainly not least, if you’re a fan of tots, then you’ll be excited to learn that some loaded tots will soon be coming to The Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland! Starting in February, you’ll be able to find three new types of loaded tots: Greek Tots, Fiesta Tots and Buffalo Chicken Tots. The Greek tots will come topped with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers, olives and feta cheese; the Fiesta Tots will come topped with ground beef, tomatoes, peppers, queso and jalapeños; and the Buffalo Chicken Tots will come topped with buffalo chicken, celery, bleu cheese crumbles and garlic ranch dressing. My mouth is watering just thinking about these! So be on the lookout soon for these loaded tots, because they’re definitely a snack you won’t want to skip out on.
