I hope you’ve been using the Hawaiian language greetings throughout the day from the “Aloha All Day” series. Right now, perhaps you say, “aloha kakahiaka” if it is morning. Or maybe it’s evening, then, “aloha ahiahi!” Let me know what time of day it is where you are in the comments below. You can feel and experience the spirit of aloha all day at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, and you can share aloha with everyone.

“Aloha kakou” is the greeting to address a group and make them feel connected. “Kakou” means “all of us” and there are so many ways to make everyone feel included in a special Hawaiian vacation—from youngest to oldest, keiki to kupuna!
Pau Hana Room Community Hall.

Every member of the family can find delight at the Pau Hana Room Community Hall. It’s one of my favorite places because it’s where I started my Aulani Resort journey five years ago. Guests and Disney Vacation Club Members come together as an ‘ohana to learn how to dance hula, play the ‘ukulele and immerse themselves in the Hawaiian culture. I love when we gather as an ‘ohana around a table covered in vibrant purple orchid flowers to string them together in beautiful lei.
