Ever dreamed of visiting Disneyland’s exclusive Club 33? Well, dreams are about to get a cinematic twist! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is planning a movie inspired by their hidden gem, Club 33. Darren Lemke, famous for his work on *Goosebumps* and *Shazam!*, will be bringing the magic to life through his screenplay.

The movie promises to be a fantastical adventure, featuring Kim, a young and tenacious detective from New York, who receives a mysterious invitation to Club 33. Unlike the real Club 33, this one exists outside time and space and is frequented by history’s most iconic figures—royalty, geniuses, and game-changers from the past. The plot thickens when Kim is thrust into a mystery after a murder occurs as soon as she arrives. Kim must solve the crime among the brightest minds in history, all while grappling with her knack for getting in her own way.

The talent behind this project is just as impressive as its premise. Shawn Levy, the director of *Deadpool* and *Night at the Museum*, along with Dan Levine and Dan Cohen, is producing the film through their company, 21 Laps Entertainment. This is the same team behind hits like *Stranger Things* and *All The Light We Cannot See*.

The inspiration for the film traces back to Walt Disney himself. Disneyland’s Club 33 first opened its doors in 1967, taking cues from the executive lounges Walt observed at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. Originally the only place in Disneyland to serve alcohol, it quickly became a highly sought-after secret hideaway.
