The Walt Disney Company is pulling out all the stops to celebrate a significant milestone—90 years of Donald Duck! The festivities kicked off today with an exclusive reveal on Good Morning America, showcasing new Donald Duck-inspired products and treating the beloved duck to a surprise in-studio party. Fans can expect a whirlwind of fun with exciting activities and events across Disney’s various segments, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, consumer products, and theme parks.

The Good Morning America segment didn’t disappoint, featuring over 70 Donald Duck-themed products from over 20 different brands, like American Tourister, Casetify, and Loungefly. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg—over the summer, fans will have an array of Donald-centric products from Cakeworthy, Citizen, Forever 21, GAP, PEZ, Simple Modern, and many more to look forward to.

This grand celebration also serves as a retrospective on Donald’s iconic journey and his role in Disney’s unparalleled storytelling legacy. Known for his relatable frustrations, Donald has become one of the world’s most recognized characters. His collection of accolades includes a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and his iconic webbed feet immortalized in cement outside Hollywood’s Chinese Theatre.

Adding to the excitement, The Walt Disney Studios Restoration and Preservation Team will release two newly restored classic Donald Duck shorts: Crazy Over Daisy (1950) and Out on a Limb (1950), available on Disney+ starting June 9. Moreover, the adventures continue with D.I.Y. Duck, the first Donald Duck-starring short produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios since 1961, which will be available on Disney+, Disney Channel, and Freeform.

Theme park fans aren’t left out either! Tokyo Disney Resort is hosting “Donald’s Quacky Duck City,” a special celebration featuring themed decorations, merchandise, and parades throughout June. Meanwhile, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort offers limited-time activities, including “Donald’s Birthday Duckling Dance” and exclusive specialty outfits for Donald, culminating in a one-night-only castle projection show on June 9.

If you’ve got a soft spot for Donald, you’ll want to follow @Disney and @MickeyMouse on Instagram for special surprises and to catch the all-new brand spot on June 9 commemorating #DonaldDuck90th.
