Get ready for a magical flight, Disney fans! On May 24th, China Eastern Airlines unveiled its spectacular Zootopia-themed airplane, an exquisite partnership with Shanghai Disney Resort. This collaboration celebrates the recent opening of the pioneering Zootopia land at Shanghai Disneyland, elevating the enchantment to the skies.

The Disney-Zootopia Express flaunts an extraordinary design, marking a first for China Eastern Airlines. The exterior features three-dimensional imagery of your favorite Zootopia characters, appearing as if they’re whizzing through the clouds due to the airplane’s speed. Inside, the Zootopia magic continues with charming animal designs on luggage bins and fold-out trays that showcase a vibrant map of Zootopia land.

The grand unveiling was a whimsical event held in a specially decorated Zootopia-themed hangar in Shanghai. Among the special guests were residents and children from Cangyuan and Shuangjiang counties in Yunnan Province, recipients of China Eastern Airlines’ community support efforts. They were joined by Zootopia’s own Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, adding to the magic of the celebration.

To deepen the Disney experience, China Eastern Airlines has introduced a Disney-dedicated section on its mobile app. This new feature allows passengers to check the schedules for all six Disney-themed aircraft up to three days before their flight, making it easier for travelers to plan their enchanting journey.

Shanghai further cements its role as a premier gateway for tourism in China with the recently launched Shanghai Pass. Available at major airports and transport service centers, the pass facilitates seamless travel across Shanghai and extends access to over 330 cities nationwide, including major destinations like Beijing, Guangzhou, and Chengdu.
